Kira was able to place herself second best in the -15 kg class in EWPL European Championship! She worked really well on a very heavy track and was only 1% body weight from reaching the top! Maxpull 534 kg - P4P 38,98 %
We will be back greater next year!
Congratulations also to the other Norwegian participants, and especially to Bingen Bulldogs who took home the European Championship gold in the -44 class.

Kira participated in the last Weight Pull competition this weekend, hosted by the Norwegian Weight Pull Club. This was also the Norwegian Championship 2011. Full ofself-confidence we jumped in to the starting weight of 408 kg and worked our way up. The weightpull track proved to be nothing ells thangood, but we managed to work our way well over our targe of 584 kg. Her last pull was 623 kg, and Kira realy worked to get it over the finhis line!! I chose to stop her here because I was more than well pleased with her performance. With a pull of 623 kg -> Pound 4 Pound 44,5 % her bodyweight, she wasplaced as No.2 in her weight class. She alsoset a new personal record, and was given the title EWP7 Champion & EWPL Grand Champion!

The kennel has got its second Champion! Kira became this weekend EWPL weight pull Champion!
Norwegian weight pull club hosted this weekend's Weekend Pull 2011. This was our first double competition and we were very eager for a first place. Kira worked really well with Beate as her handler, but unfortunately they lost the gold by only 0.3 kg on both days and ended then on a overall 2 place in weight class -15 kg. Maxpull was for both days 584 kg -> P4P 41.42% which is also a new record for Kira, she then got the EWPL WP Champion for EWP4 and EWP6 and she got 2x EWP7 title, can not say anything except that we are extremely pleased with her, and that we are now looking forward to both the Norwegian Championship and European Championship in September!

On Saturday we were at the years second WeightPull Competition, which this time was organized by Nnorwegian Weight Pull avd. Oslo. Beate andKira participated in the class- 15kg, and this time we were more prepared than last time! We jumped in to the starting weight of 283 kg and worked our way up. The weightpull track proved to be SMASHING good and we managed to work our way well over our targe of 450 kg. Her last pull was 506 kg, andKira pulled with out major problems. I chose to stop her here because I was more than well pleased with her performance. With a pull of 506 kg -> Pound 4 Pound 35,89 % her bodyweight, she wasplaced as No.2 in her weight class. She alsoset a new personal record, and was given the title EWP6!
In addition, she is now qualified for both the Norwegian Championship and European Championship in EWPL auspices!

Kira's X-ray results have now been processed and the result is unchanged!
Diagnosis: hip dysplasia FCI 2 / HD D - No secondary changes
We are pleased with the result, and she can continue to be as active as before. She will obviously not be included in our breeding program, but there is no doubt that she can be the dog she is made to be!

Kira participated in the first Weight Pull competition this weekend, hosted by the Norwegian Weight Pull Club avd Buskerud. Kira worked well and was placed 2nd best in class -15 kg, with a okay maxpull, 356 kg - P4P 25.25%. (We tried a pull on 453 kg, but it was too heavy this time.)
She was thereby rewarded with her second title under the auspices of EWPL - EWP4

Last weekend NWPC held a beginner Cours in Weight Pull. 26 dogs and the owner showed up. With so much positive people in one place, it can not be more than a super day!
After the course it was organized a fun pull for course participants and others who wanted to participate. Beate participated with Kira in the category - 15 kg. This was only the second time this year with the WP trolley for Kira.
Kira was a little stressed out, so we had to settle for a maxpull 259 kg and P4P at 18,77%. She worked well, but was a little too much stressed and unfocused. So we are super happy with her!

More changes are already underway with the site.
Otherwise, spring is almost here, and we have started training for this year's WP season. All three are now being actively trained in WP, and we see that this is not just something we enjoy, but also, all the the dogs.

Been a while since the last update. We became parents for the first time to a wonderful little boy named Daniel on October 5. He is also the reason that our breeding program is on hold. We want to spend our time on him, and take care of the dogs we have here at home.

This weekend we was at ABKN (American Bulldog Club Norway)' special 2010. It was held on NWPC practice area. We participated with Kira in the APA & Irondog sanctioned Weight Pull competition. This time she enterd with Anders as her handler, because I'm pregnant in the last month. From the last competition, we now had more experience and was well prepared. Kira did a roaring effort, and WON her weight class, with a maxpull 489 kg. She also won a trophy for best P4P in the group ~ 34,92 times her own weight, and received her second title, the title IDWP3. I was so happy, and proud!
Nero also participated this weekend. He participated in the Tug of War contest. As the only Rottweiler among the American Bulldogs, he won the competition, and was named Tug Of War Champion ABKN 2010! We are so pleased. And of course he got his first trophy for his efford.

Today the Norwegian WeightPull Club (NWPC) had its first weigthPull competition. Kira participated, but she was to no theat to her swedish opponents. Still she managed to gett placed as nr. 3 in her weight class (-20 kg), with a maxpull 327 kg. P4P 21,65 %. She also received the title EWP3. We are so proud! Photos of her is placed in the gallery "NWPC".
Now we look forward to the Norwegian Athletic Dog Club (NADC) events on sep 4th.

Summershow in Moss. This year, as last year we participated in the annual summershow i Moss with some success. Only Kira and Billy participated, as Nero has been retired from all show this year.
Billy did not get placed in his clas again, but got an exellent critic. Kira got her first "exellent" this year, butt did not get placed in her clas. Photos and critic is placed in gallery.
Kira is on the otherhand having success in WP. She is participating in her first competition on aug 14th. We are exited!

This weekend we was at SBT Open Show 2010. We had a great time, with over 200 staffies and their owners.
Billy and Kira participated, but did not get placed. Photos & critic is placed in gallery "show photos-10".
We are already exited about next year.

Last weekend Billy had is first dogshow. He was placed as no 3 both days, with an very goog critik. Kira also participated and was "very good" and "good". we are plased. Photos of them both in the ring in photogallery.
next weekend Kira is going to participat in a athletic dog show, we are so excited.
